HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE? EXPLORE DEEPER WATERS WITH SANCTUM

Have you ever felt left out when people are exploring dives sites that are deeper than your certification is allowing you? You felt you wanted to go deeper but your training limits don’t allow you? With Deep Diver Speciality you are able to reach until 40 metres!

Deep Diving is safe if you follow the rules and procedures. Diving in deeper water, you need to be proper trained and be aware of the safety protocols. Recreational diving standards of deep diving is between 18-40 metre. To be able to reach up until 40 meter you need to do the Deep Diver Dpeciality Course.

In Una Una Island we have a few dive sites, like our famous barracuda heaven called Apollo, that require you to be at least advanced diver. Don’t feel left out when your fellow divers are going to dive deeper. After the Deep Diver Speciality or Advanced Open Water Course you will be able to access new dives sites and you will find different creatures and corals which are only visible in the deeper waters.

DEEP DIVE SPECIALITY

Duration: 2 days
Dives: 4 dives

During the course you will go into more details of decompressor models, nitrogen narcosis and you will see the changes of your air consumption.

In the theoretical part you will learn the safety rules that are necessary while deep diving. You will learn about what will happen to different gases in your body and your tank. You will plan your dives with your instructor and you will gain knowledge to make decompression stops, and why bringing an extra tank to the dive is needed.

You will learn about handling different equipment that is needed for deep diving such as setting up the drop tank, using pony bottle and being able to give first aid and emergency oxygen. Diving deeper will also mean there is less light and the torch comes very handy to see the true colours of the corals and fishies in the depth.

During Open Water Dives, you already know about dive planning, setting up the drop tank and managing buoyancy control. While diving deep we need to be extra aware of air supply and gas narcosis.
