BECOME AN ADIP INSTRUCTOR AT SANCTUM UNA UNA

Our ADIP training center in Sanctum Una Una will provide you with professional level training. Our goals are to prepare you for a real life teaching environment. Completing the ITC (Instructor Training Course) will give you the opportunity to start teaching and working all around the world with our internationally recognized certificate.As a dive professional, you will create a good atmosphere and inspire divers to enjoy the underwater world.

ADIP Instructor Training Course (ITC)

Duration: 2 weeks

During the ADIP ITC, you will learn how to supervise students in the pool and in the open water environment, as well as to establish professional relationships with your students. You will be the role model for new divers, thus creating a good atmosphere is important for a student to feel confident and secure during their courses. You will be trained to recognise a state of stress from your students and to handle the situation with calm and safety.

ADIP INSTRUCTOR 1*

The ADIP ITC will allow you to teach and get student certified for the Basic Diver, Divers level 1* and 2*.

You will be able to :

  • safety plan the dives,
  • teach theoretical and practical courses,
  • supervise briefings,
  • create a good, relaxing and safe atmosphere for your students to learn happily

Included in ITC course:

• Theory lessons
• Pool and open water exercises
• Exam
• Certification (certification fees included)

Who can take this course?

• Min 18 years old
• ADIP 4* or Divemaster (PADI/SSI) license
• DiveMedic, EFR or equivalent in the last 24 months
• Min 100 log dives
• Dive insurance
• Be a certified diver for at least one year
• Valid scuba diving medical examination (in the last 12 months)

Gain knowledge and learn how to teach:

You will learn to master the theoretical knowledge related to the different certifications and practice to present a course in the classroom in a real-life situation.
You will learn about the standards of teaching and the scuba diving theory in both close-bodied water (e.g. lake) and open water (e.g. sea) environments.
You will discover how to choose dive sites suitable for the courses by learning to use maps, tide charts and how to read the currents.
During the course you will also learn about marketing, using the ADIP website and mastering online e-learning tools.

Develop your practical skills :

During the pool practice, you will learn how to master the all ADIP level skills and how to demonstrate them to students and help them if needed. You will train for realistic teaching scenarios with other students and our assistants.

After receiving ADIP Instructor 1* certificate, you will be step closer to became ADIP 2 * instructor. After having certified ten Diver 1* students and five Diver 2* students, you will be able to upgrade your instructor level into becoming ADIP instructor 2*
