The EFR (Emergency First Response) course will teach you the basic life support and first aid. Having taken this course, you might be able to save someones life by giving them help in a critical situation. Time is decisive when it comes to the an emergency; by knowing the basic first aid skills, you can increase the victim’s chances to be treated by professionals and to recover.

This course will teach you how to deal with different life threatening situations and will give you the confidence to act in real life. This course is suitable for all, there is no age limits and it is useful for everyone.

Our EFR (Emergency first response) course meets the international first aid course standards and is  based on internationally recognised medical guidelines for emergency care.

EFR training focuses on building your confidence which will increase your capabilities and willingness to respond when coming face to face with a medical emergency situation.

You will be able to manage emergencies in a most efficient way by using your knowledge, skills and taking action before the medical care professionals arrive.

Course participants will learn to follow a simple step-by-step protocols for emergency care, and they will practice applied first aid skills in a non-stressful learning environment.

What you will learn?

The course is divided in three different sections:

  • Emergency procedures,
  • First Aid other responses,
  • Realistic scenarios.

During the “Emergency procedures” part,  you will learn the basics of primary care for both adults and children, such as how to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The “First Aid other responses” section will teach you life saving skills in case of injury. You will learn how to treat people with serious bleeding, how to handle someone that was hit, felt or received a blow, and how to deal with spinal injuries. We will teach you different techniques of first aid and secondary care.

The “Realistic scenarios” will prepare you to react best in real-life emergency situations. You will learn to recognise potential hazards at the scene and how to best react to these events accordingly.

You will also learn how to administer emergency oxygen in case of suspected decompression illness (DCI).

After our EFR course, you will feel confident to take an action and help the ones in need thanks to the skills and knowledge acquired during the training.
