SNORKELING
Explore the amazing underwater world with a mask and snorkel !
Enjoy the pristine coral reefs and its marine life by snorkeling in the front of the Sanctum Resort, or join a boat trip to discover other parts of the island.
Most of our dive sites are suitable for snorkeling and free diving. Our staff members will guide you for the best snorkeling spots.

VOLCANO TREK
Discover the power of nature while hiking up an active volcano!
Explore the wild and untouched nature of Una Una island with a hike to the Togeans only active volcano. You are in for an unforgettable experience!
Volcano Colo
Hiking up the volcano Colo which last erupted in 1983, is one of the must-do activities in Una Una!
You will start your hike in the early morning to avoid the hottest time of the day. Depending on the number of people hiking, you will either go by boat (5-6 people minimum) or by motorbike with a guide as your driver.
Your guide will take you to the starting point for your hike and go up with you, leading the way and helping you if needed. The hike follow the riverbed created from the lava rundown during the last eruption. You will witness some amazing “Jurassic Park” views around you, walking surrounded by dense jungle plants. Once on top of the volcano, you will be amazed by the crater!
Our team at Sanctum Resort will organize everything for your half day trip. We are in contact with local guides who knows this area the best.
Volcano Ambun
This other half day trip shows you the beautiful landscapes of Una Una Island. The trip organization is similar to the Volcano Colo. You will leave in the morning and be accompanied by local guides.
During this volcano walk, you will discover the pure nature of Una Una Island and you will be surprised when you reach the top and witness the crater of the Volcano Ambun!
Price for a half-day volcano trek (1 volcano) : 250.000 IDR
[to be paid in cash directly to the guides after the excursion]

A calming breath in front the ocean
We have a perfect location for your yoga sessions with a great ocean view. Yoga mats are available for you on demand.
Enjoy revitalizing morning stretches, a little bit of meditation in front of the ocean or a relaxing yoga session at sunset.
Our yoga platform is located on the top of the beach where you will feel of the ocean breeze while practicing your Asanas.
We have Yoga teachers here from time to time, so don’t hesitate to contact us to find out if we have one available when you are planning to come.
INDONESIAN COOKING
Learn how to make delicious local dishes
Bring some of Indonesia back home with you by learning how to cook a delicious local food. Impress your friends and family by cooking yourself some Indonesian cuisine. With our kitchen staff, you can discover how to use different spices, to make your own sambal (spicy sauce), learn how to cook tempe or a bamboo leaf steamed fish.
Our Sanctum local chefs will be happy to invite you in the kitchen, so you can see how their prepare the food for lunch or dinner. Don’t hesitate to ask them what dish they will prepare and pop up in the kitchen for an improvise cooking lesson!
FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET
The best way to enjoy the end of a relaxing day
Sunset boat cruise
Take a short boat ride to the north part of the island and enjoy the sunset from the beach while drinking your freshly opened coconut with the papaya straw.
You can also include a diving or snorkeling session into this trip, before or after the sunset.
The waters around Una Una are home to a species of bioluminescent plakton. During a night swim, the ocean looks like a sky full of stars!
Beautiful sunrise at your door
To see spectacular sunrises, you just have to step out of your room. Our resort is facing on east side and you are able to see sunrise every morning from your balcony or our jetty.
SIMPLY RELAX
Live the true island life, take it easy !
We have a lot of space for you just to relax at Sanctum Resort. Grab a book from our bookshelf and enjoy some quiet reading time in our two lounge areas furnished with comfortable sofas and pillows, or hang in our of the hammocks.
Spend the evenings relaxing on your balcony, grab a coconut or cold beer from our bar to refresh at the end of the day. The sun sets on the opposite side of Una Una, however you can glaze at the beautiful pink and orange colors of the sky in from of Sanctum.
